Internet job advertisements increased 5.3 per cent in the past year, led by demand for workers in NSW, Victoria and the ACT.
The Department of Employment’s monthly vacancy report, released on Wednesday, shows the number of job ads was unchanged from the previous month although there was a two per cent rise in demand for technicians and trades workers.
Five of the eight occupational groups monitored by the department increased in the month.
